The Girl Who Wouldn't Die by Randall Platt Thanks to Sky Pony Press for a copy of this finished book in exchange for a fair review. Abra Goldstein is dead, well not really but she does have her own gravestone in the cemetery.  But don't call her Abra, just call her Arab and well don't call her a girl either. She knows from spending the last two years in Vienna that the Nazi's don't care for Jews or girls, and she plans to leave both behind and survive what is coming. So she returns home to Warsaw and resumes her street life. She avoids the ghetto and soon meets a mother who is hiding out in the cigarette factory she used to own. Arab comes up with the plan to have her make cigarettes and Arab will sell them. Arab carries on for more than a year with the scheme, making connections and friends even among the Nazi's, but soon she meets Otto and he changes everything. He dares her to think that she can save some of the Jewish children in Warsaw. As plans g

Confessions of a Former Puck Bunny by Cindi Madsen (Taking Shots #4) Thank you to Entangled and Netgalley for a copy of the ARC in exchange for a fair review. Disclaimer I was unaware until I started reading this today that it was part of a series! That being said I don't feel like I was missing out on anything but picking this up on book 4, after reading it and loving it I will be going back to read 1-3! Lindsay is the editor of the school paper and reformed Puck Bunny when Ryder makes his way into her life. She has done everything she can to run away from and avoid falling into her former behavior. She is shocked when he offers to help tutor her in math and explains the math to her in such a way that she can actually understand it. Ryder doesn't understand why Lindsay keeps running away from, but the more he gets to know her the more he wants to be with her. As they continue to fight their feelings and her past, and his past will they be able to admit how they fee

Interview with Sara Wolf

I interviewed Sara Wolf, I reviewed two of her books on the blog! She was so nice! Did you always want to be a writer? Ever since I turned twelve and discovered the magic of fanfiction, I've wanted to be a writer! Although, I think I wanted to be a vet sometime when I was very little. What inspires your writing? Other books, of course! I love reading, and seeing other writers write so much better than me always inspires me to do better in writing my own books. What was the hardest part writing “Remember me Forever”? The hardest part was writing all the scenes where Isis falls into a hole of partying, drinking, etc. She was obviously doing it because she was in pain, and it hurt my heart so bad for her. I just wanted to scoop her up and put her in a blanket.  What is your favorite thing about writing “Remember me Forever"? My FAVORITE thing was FINALLY getting to write a bunch of fluffy/sweet scenes with Jack and Isis cuddling, kissing, etc. They've had

Remember me Forever by Sara Wolf Thank you to Entangled Teen and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC in exchange for a fair review. Isis is back and it's been a few months since Sophia's suicide. She hasn't been handling it well, but what makes everything worse is that Jack just took off. He didn't say one word just completely disappeared. So Isis is trying to be okay with everything and is doing the best that she can. After a summer vacation at her Dad's, she returns to Ohio to get ready to attend Ohio State. Once at Ohio State, she meets Yvette and after having a fabulous conversation they discover they are roommates.  As Isis continues to adjust to life at college and without Jack, she is thrown into a tailspin when she discovers that Nameless also attends the college and that Jack is here as well. Can Isis let go of the past? Can she leave Jack behind? Will Jack finally come to his senses and tell Isis's how he feels about her? I have loved every sin
