There they hope to help get the project back on track and help save humanity. Cassie also wants to let the clones know the truth. She also wants all of her children back as they were only able to save VM2. Cassie also has a weird reaction when she comes face to face with one of her clones. She knows that it is due to ancestral memory, that seeing herself awakening memories lost in her DNA. Cassie and Michael work together to get the program restarted and find their missing children, but most of all to create hope for the future. A future in which humanity is legitimately reborn. Nightsinger, the witch that made her holds her heart and in a jar and Zera follows her orders in hopes of getting her heart back someday. So when she is ordered to take the Crown Prince's heart in exchange for her own, she willingly joins in the quest to take his heart and prevent a war between the witches and the people. However, Zera is shocked when she finally meets the Prince and realizes that he is her friend Whisper, a thief. But her heart is at stake and so she sets asides what little feelings she has, and gets to know the Prince better.  As she gets in deeper and deeper, she finds that not having a heart doesn't mean you don't have feelings. Will she be able to take his heart when the time comes or will she save him from the conspiracy unfolding? I have to admit that lately fantasy hasn't been appealing to me, but I loved
