I want to start off by saying a big THANK YOU! to Jennifer L. Armentrout and 1001 Dark Nights for including us in the Blog Tour for the upcoming release of "The Queen"!

I'd also like to thank them for the ARC of "The Queen" which I am currently reading and I cannot wait for you all to read this!!

"The Queen" is the third novella in the Wicked trilogy spin-off and features Brighton and Caden from the Wicked trilogy.

Let's meet them shall we!

Brighton Jussier: She's our main squeeze, the woman no one expects. Brighton is in her early 30's she's the "Researcher" the Willow to Ivy's Buffy. When we first meet Brighton in Wicked, she's mentioned only as her mother's caregiver, she doesn't have an active role in the Order however; she's the one that finds the fae maps and helps Ivy and Ren with her fae knowledge. Like most book smart characters Brighton doesn't play the up front, bad ass, action role...until now! I love Brighton because she's unexpected, she's surprising and she's relatable! She's the Librarian with the soul of a warrior and you will love every, single second of her journey!

Caden: He's "THE PRINCE"! Yes that prince! The one that made us all shiver in fear in Wicked, the Prince that did unspeakable, horrible things to Ivy. To everyone he is The Prince and he is never referred to by his name. Um so, you know, don't tell anyone I gave it to you. In this new spin off novella trilogy we get to know Caden after he's released from the evil Queens spell. He's tragic and pushy and still devilishly just the right amount of dark!

Hotel Good Fae

Tanner: He's the de facto leader of the Summer Court Fae at Hotel Good Food fae. Tanner is like your favorite Uncle who watches out for everyone. He's the the trustworthy, stalwart champion of the Summer Court with a soft spot for Brighton and her mother. Tanner is just as likely to give you a piece of candy as a piece of advice and both will be delivered with kindness and compassion. Tanner makes everyone feel welcome and safe and Caden and Brighton both rely on him to hold their confidences. Just remember he's also fae and their a tricksy lot.

Kalen: If ever there was a character that embodied the age old tale of a fae knight Kalen is it. He's dashing, he's brave, he's loyal and trustworthy, and he's got a wicked sense of humor. Kalen is Sir Galahad with a fae edge to him. Of all the fae at Hotel Good Fae Kalen is my favorite! As side characters go he leaves quite the impression.

Faye: If Kalen is the finely honed edge of a sword, Faye is the war-hammer! She's blunt and bold and she's not overly concerned about your delicate feelings. Faye is a great foil to Kalen but more importantly she's a great example of feminine strength twined with feminine compassion. Never mistake this woman's kindness for weakness or it'll be the last thing you ever do!

Fabian: I LOVE Fabian. He's Caden's younger brother a prince in his own right and he's besotted with Tink! To be fair we're all besotted with Tink! Fabian is not some stiff shirted, puffed up prince, oh no he's the fun brother. Fabian is playful, a tad bit naughty, but at his core a marshmallow. He's my little summer child I love him.

Tink: This isn't Disney's pixie. Tink is a brownie a very powerful brownie but unlike most powerful, badass characters Tink doesn't walk around with a chip on his shoulder glowering at everyone in his path. Nope! Tink is the hyper active, Amazon Prime hoarding, hilarious sidekick to first Ivy and then Brighton he's also Prince Fabian's lover. Tink brings joy, humor, and truth bombs to every scene and his humor is only surpassed by his genuine love and loyalty those he's claimed as family.

Now that you've met all the good guys I know you're wondering who are the bad guys? The short answer the Winter fae are still a thorn in everyone's side an insidious poison that creeps into the cracks of the Summer court infecting the young and old alike. In The Queen Brighton will fight for her future and that of the Summer Court. Caden will have to face his own demons from his past and learn trust Brighton if he's to lead his Court against the Winter Fae.
