The Harbor by Katrine Engberg

I won a copy of the ARC in a Goodreads Giveaway. Thank you to GoodReads and Gallery/Scout Press for a copy of the ARC.

First off I didn't realize until I just set up this post that this is the 4th book in the series... I will say I didn't feel like I was missing anything once I realized this. However, I do typically like to read all books in order so if you are like me please start with The Tenant which is on my to read list!

Korner and Werner are called in to investigate a missing teenager. He was supposed to stay with a friend, but never arrived there that night. Oscar has vanished, no one has seen him since shortly after school let out Friday afternoon. When his backpack is found down by the dock and the family boat is missing soon they begin to wonder did he leave on his own? Is he really missing or did he run away from something?

The mystery deepens when a dead body turns up at the garbage dump. But all are shocked when they realize it isn't Oscar but his teacher Malthe instead. What is really going on? Can they find Oscar before it is too late or they find more bodies?

I really enjoyed this, I do quite like the Nordic mysteries. I have a couple of authors on my go to list from Denmark, Sweden and Norway. I am also going to try and turn and read the first three and then re-read this so I may do an update to this later to let you know once I have read the first three if I think you need to read them in order or if it is okay to skip around.

I really like Anette and Jeppe, they are interesting and totally committed to getting answers. I can't wait to read more stories with them in it!
