The Swell by Allie Reynolds

Thank you to G.P. Putnam's Sons and Netgalley for a copy of the eARC in exchange for a review.

Kenna is worried about her best friend Mikki after she reveals that she is getting married soon to someone she met in Australia. Kenna plans to fly out there, but she worried she may have to surf again. She hasn't surfed since the day her boyfriend drowned. When Kenna shows up in Australia Mikki seems less then thrilled to see her and there seems to be some weird tension between them.

Shortly after Kenna arrives she finds out Mikki and her fiance are on their way to Sorrow Beach. They spend half the year out there camping and surfing. Kenna is worried and suspicious and when she arrives out there and the way the rest of the group acts she begins to wonder what they are all hiding.

As time passes and Kenna is drawn into the Tribe and realizes that some of them are missing people, or that they knew missing people she tries to figure out who is behind it all.

This is my second book by Allie Reynolds and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first one. This was great because as a reader things are revealed to us, that are not revealed to the characters. I could not put that down and the open ending makes me wonder if we will see them again.
