The Teacher by Katerina Diamond

Thanks to Netgalley and Avon for a copy of the book in exchange for a fair review.

Someone is killing people from a school with dark secrets. First, Jeffrey Stone is murdered, then Kevin, and the police don't realized that they are tied together until the fourth one is murdered. Adrian and his part Imogen are racing against time to figure out what is connecting the victims and who the murderer could be.

Adrian has a lot riding on this as his son attends the school that links all of the victims so far, and he wonders if his son might end up in danger. Meanwhile, Abbey has finally found a good man, which she deserves after her horrible time at the university.

Can Adrian unravel it all? Or will he find that these crimes are punishments well deserved?

I know this is so vague even for me, but it was told from several points of views and present and flashbacks with Abbey so it made a little confusing. Especially since it didn't become clear until near the end what Abbey had to do with any of it. I will say the plot and the story was compelling and I think it would have been better without all the various pov's.

I will say that I liked Adrian and Imogen quite a bit and wish I had read more from their point of view. Well really mostly it was Adrian's point of view and we get to see Imogen through his eyes. This does contain a lot violence, rape and isn't an easy read. However, it does make you think, and make you question some things.
