I won this in a goodreads giveaway! So Millicent and her husband have secrets.. Everyone has secrets right... But not everyone has their kind of secrets.. So normally I say quite a bit more about what goes on in the basic story, but literally that would spoil everything so I have to be super vague. Like super vague.. However, I could not put this down. I started it and finished it in one afternoon. I was pulled in and on the edge of my seat. Some of the things that happened I was not super shocked about. Others blew my mind. From the outside looking in, they seem like a normal power couple. They have a nice house, nice life, and two great kids. But what they do to keep the marriage spicy is not normal, not at all. I also realized that the husband's name is legit never mentioned in the entire book. There are instances when he uses other names, but no one says his name at all. Adele can see the dead, well she hasn't for awhile because she has been taking her meds. But lately she hasn't been which is why she is shocked when her friend Tori calls her name as she is walking home from the park.
